I can’t get enough of this view.

If you’re planning a trip to Barcelona, add a visit to Santa Maria de Montserrat to your itenerary (and don’t miss the funicular while you’re there).

I decided to e-bike from my hotel, , to soak in the views on the ride up to the monastery, and the funicular ride was easily one of the highlights of the day. The panoramic mountain views alone make it worth the trip.

One of my most-asked home finds, and for good reason.

After years of dealing with the shedding, dust and mess that comes with natural jute rugs, I swapped the rug in my guesthouse bedroom for this indoor-outdoor faux jute option after our renovation in January and never looked back. I loved it so much that I’ve now replaced the jute rug in the guesthouse living room with the same one!

It has the same warm, neutral look, a subtle herringbone pattern that adds texture, and it’s far easier to clean, especially if you have allergies, pets or guests.

Even better: it’s a close match to a popular Pottery Barn rug that sells for $600 more in the 8x10 size.

Florence feels even dreamier from a 16th-century palazzo.

I’m feeling inspired after my stay at Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Firenze with its stunning interiors, incredible views and exceptional service. Don’t miss the Aria Rooftop, which was a highlight for sunset drinks and dinner overlooking the Duomo, and the gift shop with local treats and unique souvenirs to bring home.

Gardens in full bloom, farmers market mornings, afternoon thunderstorms that make the brick sidewalks shine and backyard barbecues that stretch later than planned.

Front porch season in Capitol Hill is one of my favorite parts of outdoor living in DC.

I’ve styled the porch to feel like an extension of my historic row home: relaxed, layered and comfortable, with a few pieces that make it easy to sit outside, people-watch and enjoy the front garden.

After a spring in DC that felt like a dream, I found myself chasing blooms a little farther this year.

I’ve always wanted to see the tulip fields in bloom, so when a friend invited me to visit her new home in the Netherlands, I couldn’t book flights fast enough.

A perfect change of scenery (but maybe a little too much pollen 🤧).
