🚨 COMMUNITY — WE HAVE LESS THAN ONE HOUR LEFT🚨

The heartbreaking update is that these dogs did not make it out of the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter by yesterday’s deadline, which means they are no longer adoptable directly to the public. 😥

But they are NOT out of options yet — there are still 6 dogs who can be saved if a rescue steps forward and tags them before the shelter opens today.

The six are still waiting for someone to say YES. We do not have enough rescues committed, and we have approximately ONE HOUR left to change that.

If you are a rescue, foster, adopter connected to a rescue, or know a rescue that can help, PLEASE STEP FORWARD NOW‼️

If you cannot pull, SHARE this post, TAG rescues, and keep these 6 dogs visible — because right now, every share could put them in front of the person who can save them. 🐾

Ellie has been at the shelter since August 21, 2026. She is just over a year old and still has her entire life ahead of her. Raunchy has been at the shelter since August 19, 2026. This petite girl is described as sweet and friendly, eager to please, and a loyal companion. She is ready to leave the shelter behind and begin the next chapter of her life — but she needs someone to step forward NOW. Furever Love Rescue is accepting applications for Raunchy.

Russ, Wells & Landon are running out of time at Prince George’s County Animal Services, and all three need a rescue, foster or adopter by TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 15. 💔 They cannot afford to be overlooked. 😢

🐾 Russ (A573102) is a 3-year-old, 46.4-lb unaltered male American Pit Bull Terrier with a BIG smile and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is described as friendly and is simply looking for someone to give him the love, stability, and fresh start he deserves. 💙

🐾 Wells (A573266) is a 3-year-old, 53.2-lb unaltered male Pit Bull Terrier who has been at the shelter since August 16. Look at those soulful eyes! 🥺 Wells is a sweet, handsome boy who needs someone willing to give him the safety, love, and bright future he has been waiting for.💙

🐾 Landon (A5715348) is a 2-year, 1-month-old, 52-lb unaltered male Pit Bull Terrier who has also been waiting since August 16. He is described as handsome, friendly, and happy — the kind of dog who just needs someone to give him a chance and a place to finally call home. 💙
