I absolutely love this hack! Even though I haven’t actually tried it yet in public… I think it’s so cool and I think it will make me feel more comfortable in certain situations because it could be quite terrifying when you’re crossing the street alone and you can’t see the cars. let me know what you think 🙂

First time making a tactile maps! I honestly think this is such a cool idea and can really help you memorize directions. I love this because it gives visually impaired people the opportunity to also use a map 🙂

Visual impairments come in all different forms! Some of us still might have some remaining vision, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t struggle. One of the hardest things about being visually impaired is explaining what you can and can’t see to others and it can be very frustrating. But just because a visually impaired person can see something, does not mean that their vision is “normal” or that they are faking it.
