This group is for people who lived "normal" lives and some major medical issue forced them to completely change their lives. This community and podcast are made by and for people who have been forced to reimagine their lives. We’ll share resources, individual sto

ries and recommendations from professionals who work with reimaginers. This is about empowering those who often suffer in silence while living with chronic pain and/or disability. This is a space for you to share experiences, ask for recommendations, and connect with others dealing with similar situations. The type of medical condition is not the focus, it's about HOW you've change your life and adapt.

The House is pushing for $880 billion in spending cuts over 10 years. Medicaid isn’t specifically named, but it’s unlikely for them to achieve this goal without impacting disability services significantly.

Medicaid already struggles with long waitlists & staffing shortages- any reductions WILL make things worse. Lawmakers must prioritize care for those who rely on these services over the numbers on their budgets.

This is a promising step forward for autism treatment! LinusBio’s new test analyzes a single hair strand to assess autism risk in young children. While still in early stages, this signals amazing new diagnostic procedures on the horizon.

Early detection means earlier support- paving the way for better outcomes. More research is needed, but this is an exciting advancement for autism care!

Healthcare has been caught in the crossfire of politics as of late. Now children’s mental healthcare is at risk. The “Make America Healthy Again Commission” is reviewing psychiatric meds for kids, raising fears of new restrictions on essential treatments.

Kids deserve care based on medical expertise- not political agendas.

Education for students with disabilities isn’t a health issue- it’s a fundamental right. This change would pave the way for more cuts and LESS accountability.

McMahon may claim funding will be maintained, but the Trump administration’s track record tells a different story. Gutting the DoE only puts special education at greater risk. Students with disabilities deserve better!

Policing should never add to trauma, especially for victims of crime. These efforts ensure people get the help they need while feeling safer in stressful situations. More jurisdictions should follow suit!
