This year, the Franklin County Backstoppers Supporter group presented a check of $170,000 to Backstoppers, their largest contribution ever. Washington Police Chief Jim Armstrong attended the presentation with other first responders, and called the local commitment to Backstoppers “truly heartwarming.”
