Kappa Community Outreach | Habitat for Humanity | Greenville & Goldsboro Alumni Chapters

Kappa Community Outreach, along with brothers from the Greenville (NC) Alumni Chapter Caleb Woodley and the Goldsboro (NC) Alumni Chapter David Allen, came out today to support Habitat for Humanity and help advance their mission of building stronger, safer communities.

Our teams stepped in wherever needed—lifting, carrying, assisting, and contributing to the hands‑on work that helps families move one step closer to stability. Service like this strengthens neighborhoods and reflects our shared commitment to uplifting the communities we serve.

Kappa Community Outreach proudly highlights Taiquan Black, our Treasurer, whose financial stewardship, discipline, and consistency help keep our organization strong, accountable, and mission‑focused. His leadership ensures that every initiative we undertake is grounded in stability and responsible governance.

Brother Black also serves on the Executive Board of the NPHC of Greenville, where he supports collaborative service and unity across the Divine Nine community.

His commitment to achievement extends further through his service on the board of the Greenville (NC) Alumni Chapter, a 501(c)(7) chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., where he continues to uphold the fraternity’s legacy of achievement.

Kappa Community Outreach is powered by a dedicated team of leaders, and today we’re highlighting a key pillar of our Social Media & Digital Engagement team Darius Nobles
Darius brings a "championship mindset" to our digital strategy, drawing from a background of elite performance and community service:
🏆 All-American Excellence: A former Baseball All-American at. Francis Marion University.
🐺 Wolfpack Pride: A proud Alum of NC State University .
🍎 Educator & Coach: A leader in the classroom and on the field, bringing a teacher’s heart to our digital outreach.
His Role on the Team:
As a vital member of the SMDC, Darius has been instrumental in establishing and managing KCO’s social media presence. From professional networking on LinkedIn and community building on Facebook , to creative storytelling on YouTube and TikTok Darius ensures our voice is consistent and impactful across every channel. 🎥💻

Service at the Ronald McDonald House – Greenville, NC

Brothers of the Greenville (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and members of the Kappa Community Outreach Board of Directors continued their commitment to uplifting families in our community through hands‑on service today at the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina.

Board Member Quency Hawkins and Vice Chairman Dr. Quadric Witherspoon, who also serves as the Polemarch of the Greenville (NC) Alumni Chapter, volunteered their time to support families facing medical challenges by helping create a warm, welcoming environment for those staying at the house.

Their service reflects our shared mission: to lead with compassion, strengthen our community, and embody Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.

NPHC of Pitt County – MLK Day of Service
Kappa Community Outreach | Greenville (NC) Alumni Chapter | Eta Psi Chapter

In the true spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, members of the NPHC of Pitt County came together for a meaningful MLK Day of Service on the campus of East Carolina University.

Representing Kappa Community Outreach, Board Members Taiquan Black—who also serves on the Executive Board of the NPHC of Greenville—and Quency Hawkins proudly served alongside our Divine Nine partners with a shared commitment to uplift and empower our community.

Our service efforts supported the William Ross Purple Pantry, where volunteers:
- Donated gently used clothing for youth and adults
- Helped package breakfast items, healthy snacks, and shelf‑stable foods
- Assisted with organizing household essentials for students and families in need

We were also honored to serve with Brother Quinton Manley of the Greenville (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., along with the dedicated brothers of the Eta Psi Chapter at East Carolina University.

Service is what we do. Brotherhood is who we are. Impact is the legacy we continue to build.
