Izzy Drives, back again!

Thought I’d do a bit of actual automotive journalism and talk about an actual car that people buy.

It’s crazy how saturated the EV market has become. Rather than an EV being just, well, an EV, we now have a plethora of genres within the market.

I like because their priority is performance. And not just gimmicky foot down, neck bracing electric torque, but actual performance. Handling, suspension, aero, that sort of thing. It’s well thought out power - it sort of feels like you’re actually driving the thing, rather than playing passenger in a fridge.

Woah surprise it’s a

Never driven one before, very intrigued. Not just going to write it off as a wannabe Land Rover. I’ll drive it for the next 2 weeks and generate some thoughts.

But the thing was born out of a need for practicality. And if I had one, it’s most practical role would involve my four legged friend. So here it is being genuinely quite handy.

I’ll get back to you on the driving bits.
