World-traveled violinist, fiddler, and songwriter Chris Murphy Music brings his 2026 Fiddle & Forest Tour to Alaska this fall in support of his new album, Songs From the Trees.

Presented in Alaska by MAKE A SCENE Media and 95.5 The Pass - Hatcher Pass Radio, the two-week tour pairs Murphy’s roots-driven violin work with a sound that is earthy, adventurous, and full of movement.

Murphy’s solo performance blends folk, blues, bluegrass, Celtic, Americana, gypsy jazz, and world music through original songs, live looping, storytelling, and fearless improvisation.

With decades of touring across the U.S. and Europe and more than fifteen albums to his name, Murphy offers Alaska venues a high-energy, deeply musical show that feels right at home among the forests, mountains, and wild northern roads.

🔥 Keep Alaska wild, not on fire! Whether you’re enjoying a campfire, burning debris, or tackling an outdoor project, it’s important to use extra care anytime you’re burning outdoors.

Before you burn:

✔️ Check current conditions.

✔️ Keep water and tools nearby.

✔️ Never leave a fire unattended.

✔️ Make sure it’s completely out before you leave.

Burn permits are typically required statewide from April 1 through August 31 for most open burning.
