•if you’re wanting to try tallow products and aren’t able to successfully make it (like i wasn’t🫣) I recommend using HomeRoots Tallow

Make ahead breakfast burritos🌯

I’m trying to buy less and less from the store and make more myself but the convenience is what’s getting me! SO i spent a couple of hours one evening meal prepping these burritos and they turned out amazing🤩

Ingredients:
-flour tortillas
-meat of choice
-eggs
-cheese
-seasonings (optional)

•in separate pans, cook the meat and eggs (if you’re doing bacon, oven cooked bacon is top tier!)
•once meat and eggs are done, lay out tortillas and add whatever portion you like to each tortilla
•add cheese
•roll up the tortillas in a burrito style roll
•let them cool at room temp then add to a plate or pan to flash freeze (5ish minutes in freezer)
•after the 5 minutes is up, add the burritos to a freezer safe bowl or bag and add to freezer
•

**to warm up i like to add some butter to a hot skillet on low-med heat and heat the burrito up while also giving it a toasted texture
**there’s also no measurements on ingredients. If you make too much eggs and meat and run out of tortillas, add the rest to a bowl for a quick premade breakfast bowl

Waffles made without bleached flour, seed oils and preservatives?
YES PLEASE!

Bisquick premade waffle/pancake mix is made with all of those things🤢

BUT i make mine with…
-2 1/4cup all purpose unbleached flour
-1/4cup pure cane sugar
-1tbsp baking powder
-2cups buttermilk
-1/2 cup melted butter
-2 eggs
-2tsp vanilla extract

•add dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk together
•add wet ingredients in separate bowl and mix
•combine wet to dry ingredients and mix together with a silicone spatula
•scoop onto hot griddle or waffle maker
•cook until done
•enjoy!

If you like fair lemonade, this is for you! Takes 3 minutes and doesn’t cost you $10😉

🍋Fair lemonade🍋
-1 lemon
-1/4 cup sugar
-ice
-water

•squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into jar/cup (add the lemon to cup once you’ve squeezed the juice out)
•add 1/4 cup sugar
•top with ice
•fill with water
•add lid and shake shake shake until sugar dissolves
•enjoy!

12-14 more weeks and they should be laying🥚

They’ve all been thriving and growing so well! We have plans to add them into the big run within the next month (around 10 weeks).

Once they are out of the starter run, what should I get next?? More chicks? Ducks? Or both??🤩

🌟Did you know that you could just call and pick up fresh meat from your local butcher without bringing animals in to be processed? Because I surely didn’t!🌟

And caddo packing in Marshall, Tx did not disappoint.

I couldn’t tell you the last time I was able to take chicken straight out of the package and into the pan without having to cut off the “nasty” parts! By the time I would clean the chicken up there wouldn’t be much chicken left but with this, it is absolutely amazing.

Similar price as the grocery store but better quality? DEAL🤩
