So much good advice coming from the pod in the next month. Lots to consider when getting your growing season wrapped up.

If you are like me, it feels like you have been neglecting the garden FOREVER!!! But, if you are dry like me, GO WATER!!! This is a crucial time to keep the hosta garden well watered. You don't want to send plants into dormancy dry. I just heard David Teager on the Hosta La Vista podcast say that parts of Asia (native hosta land) get over 50" of rain in a growing season but then no significant amount of moisture over winter. Water now is important for next year's plant. So, throw on a headlamp if you have to and get your watering system going these next few weeks.
