Thank you to Waterloo Fire Department and Monroe County EMS for putting on events like this.

If we want our local government to support these types of events, the community needs to keep showing up. I think these are usually pretty well attended, but I thought I'd share here so it gets as much visibility as possible. If this session fills up fast, that feedback will encourage the City of Waterloo, IL - Government to hopefully advocate for more of these types of positive, community building programs.

If possible, I'd like to see the City Council's Safety and Health Committee explore options to see if Waterloo could host a road safety class for all the kids riding scooters and bicycles around town in all black and no hi-vis clothing or reflectors or headlights 🙃

City Council Monday March 2nd To Decide "Ahne Building" Plans (business/residence)

Added context: Planning Commission voted unanimously in favor of this development on Jan 12th. Zoning Board of Appeals did not get enough votes to recommend. City Council will decide on Monday.
