I finally ordered a pair of boots! I have a feeling this will be my first pair or many! I received them yesterday, and plan to ride with them today, but I can tell already that these things are legit! I wanted a boot I could wear riding, and be comfortable enough to walk around in it all day at the dealership! I think I found that! More to come after I have a chance to wear these bad-ass boots for a while!

We had a show we set some machines up for this weekend for our dealership. I rode a motorcycle to set up on Thursday. It was fairly nice out with dry roads. Then, we received five inches of snow yesterday! So, I decided I would ride motorcycle today! 😮

Instead of making one more trip back to the Big Boy Toy Show with the trailer, I decided I could handle riding on the snow packed roads. I had to goose the throttle a little at the end of the first video just to test how slick it was. It was slippery as suspected. 😆 Made it back to the dealership with no issues and never once felt out of control.

Now I can say I rode on snow packed roads. As you all already know, I am not a fair weather rider.

Although the weather has had plenty of opportunities to ride in February, this was the first time it actually worked out for me to get out and ride! It’s been well above average temps here in South Dakota! The next couple weeks look like we are going back to winter, but we will be back out riding again soon!

I also picked up the first road hazard of the year! Turned around to pick up a huge bolt! In my collection bucket it goes!

I wish I could have made it out earlier in the day, but at 4:30pm it was still 45 degrees out! Documented my December ride! It’s fun when you can ride at least one time every month during the winter months!
