I had no clue what I was getting myself into 9 years ago when I accepted a "Video Producer" job in the tiny Wisconsin town of Iola. For those 9 years, I lived the dream. I went from being a lost soul in his mid-twenties to finding a brand and a family to dedicate myself to. I went from producing what I felt were meaningless videos back in Omaha to helping a nationally respected outdoor brand grow to reach millions. These past 9 years were never about the hunt for me. I enjoyed that part, sure. But to be honest, I always dreaded a trip before leaving for it, it was only when the trip was done that I truly appreciated the underlying meaning of it all. That meaning being the people that you share camp with and the journey of reconnecting to the earth together. Success or not in the field, every experience I've had, has been permanently imprinted into my soul. I am different person now, I am no longer a lost soul becuase of the people at Deer & Deer Hunting and all of those I've become friends with along the way. Despite all of my accomplishments these past 9 years, the thing I will always be most proud of and thankful for, is that I fell in love with the brand and with every inch of my efforts I stayed true to it. Now, as often happens in life, we've grown apart and that's ok. I'm moving forward with a new hat on my head but with DDH always in my heart.

Been looking at these for years and finally decided to try one out- great for gauging bucks during a hunt, general scouting and spotting random paragliders who are right above your hunting spot. Go figure.
