An active start to the work week is expected, with multiple periods of showers and storms anticipated from Monday evening through at least Tuesday afternoon. An isolated severe storm with gusty winds is possible, but the main impact will be heavy downpours & possible flooding. Whether storms continue into Wednesday remains uncertain at this time.

Widespread showers & storms will move in Monday night into Tuesday morning. Torrential downpours will accompany storms, with flooding impacts where storms track repeatedly. Best potential for impacts is currently over the western part of the area. Shifts in heavy rain corridors remain possible, so keep up with later forecast updates.

Multiple rounds of showers and storms are possible today through tonight. A few storms could be severe, with large hail and damaging winds the main concerns. An isolated tornado is also possible. Storms may transition to a heavy rainfall threat overnight into early Friday morning. A lot of uncertainty remains with the timing, strength, and placement of storms today and tonight.
