💖 Krafty Koz Update 💖
Hey sweet friends — Shawn here. 💕
I wanted to give a little life + shop update after a wild few weeks.
After two hospital stays (and more chaos than anyone should experience), I was finally diagnosed with pericarditis — inflammation around the heart. There were moments I truly accepted that I might not make it if something didn’t change.
The hardest part? For so long, no one was listening to me — the patient — the one who’s lived in this body for 40 years. Because of that, I’ve lost a lot of trust in our healthcare system. What Ricky and I went through to get proper treatment left me with PTSD, and honestly, it’s been a lot to process. 💔
By the grace of God, persistence, and finally finding the right care team, I’m still here — and healing. 🙏✨
Because recovery has to come first, Krafty Koz online will be closed for about 4–6 weeks (possibly up to 3 months). I’ll also be starting physical therapy to regain mobility and help with the dizziness that’s still lingering.

My booth at With Willing Hands is fully stocked and being lovingly taken care of by my family while I rest and recover. So you can still shop Krafty Koz creations in person while I take this time to heal.
Thank you all for the continued love, prayers, and support — for both me and my little handmade business. You’ve carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life, and I’ll forever be grateful. 💗
I’ll be back — stronger, wiser, and hopefully with some new creative spark (and a few less hospital bracelets 😉).
