Beautiful sunrises, morning mist and sunlight filtering through leaves stop her in her tracks. From the smallest, most intimate detail, like the texture of a flower petal, to the grand scale of towering trees and mountain ranges, she is compelled to record her view of the world with her camera. She especially loves to photograph the effect of natural light in the natural world, people living life

and celebrating life’s milestones, and Nature reclaiming Man’s structures. She hopes to heighten awareness of that which is precious and fragile on our jewel of a planet. Laura has earned 22 awards for her photography from local, national and international organizations. Her images have appeared in books, magazines and newspapers and she has exhibited in galleries across the East coast. Laura has shown her photography in more than 40 juried or invitation-only shows. She is a photography teacher and has juried several art shows. It brings her joy to share with you her view of our world.
