Happy Name Day to me! It's been 5 years since I had my name legally changed. 5 years since I have legally, authentically me. I am so proud of how far I've come and I will continue to grow and be the best me I can be.

Hey everyone! Been a minute since I last posted. I wanted to give y'all a little update of the current plan this year for Faires I'll be at!

First up, Georgia Renaissance Festival!!! We will be there opening weekend (April 11/12). If you want me to stop and say hi, comment and let me know! It'll be good to see my GARF friends again. Also tell me your favorite booths and shows that I need to check out. It's been 4 years since I've been to GARF, and my first time as a patron.

Next up, Kentucky Renaissance Fair! We plan to be there opening, closing, and Pirate's weekends. Can usually find me between the Twisted Thistle and the Direwolf Pub.

Finally, as always, Ohio Renaissance Festival. We'll be there every weekend, every day. You can usually find me sitting at the side bar at Aleing Knight Pub.

We may go to other events and Faires throughout the year, but this is the current plan!

As this season comes to a close, I reflect back and think of how wonderful my people are. The ones that truly have my back. I am grateful for my community and the connections I have made. Both past, present, and future friends, I love you all dearly.

THIS is the Magic of Faire....

In one of my memories today, popped up this picture. It was a rain day at LARF in 2022 and the maze was probably flooded, LOL. I had been gifted one of those eggs that you put in water and it hatches. Well, I had taken the egg and threw it in one of the puddles in front of me. Then, as I sat there watching, I winded up gathering a decent group of patrons as determined as I was to see what was in this egg. If you can see, at the right-hand corner of the silver skirt is a red twig, THAT is where the egg was. And we waited for like 30 minutes LOL. It didn't get enough water on it, so it never fully hatched, but I opened it up and revealed a small rubber dino. The whole situation was dumb, but it was magical.

After the rough year I've had from Faire, I'm glad this picture came up. While there are always big things to do and see at Faire; stop and do the small dumb things too. Because THAT is where the true magic lies.
