I have never loved a campground more than Stonelick State Park 😩
It’s not just that it’s beautiful…
it’s everything.
It’s the people camping.
The people working.
The playground.
Pickleball. Basketball. Disc golf.
The trails.
The swings at sunset point.
Kayaks on the water.
It’s the guy who randomly pulled in tonight just to camp and play rock music for everyone 😂
It’s the kids laughing.
The motorcycles passing through.
The birds… and the other bird watchers who get just as excited as I do.
It’s the kind of place where you sit there and realize…
yeah, this is why we chose this life.
I don’t just want to visit here…
I want to stay.
I want to volunteer.
I want to spend my whole summer right here.
If you’ve been here… you get it.
If you haven’t… put it on your list.

So apparently my knee decided to quit its job today…
right in the middle of Kroger 😅
Like FULLY gave out.
Not a warning. Not a wobble.
Just… “yeah I’m done here” and clocked out.
I was literally dragging my leg through the store like it was just… decorative at that point 🙃
But hey… silver lining?
I finally stopped putting it off and called ortho.
Appointment is in the morning.
Moral of the story:
If your body’s been whispering… don’t wait until it starts yelling in aisle 7.
Anyone else ever had their knee just completely betray them out of nowhere?

A lot of y'all have asked when we will be at Caesar Creek State Park this year!
We just booked site 16 from the 19th till the 26th! I will be volunteering with Caesar Creek Campground Friends whenever possible so we will still be around!
