• 1) Elevated risk for wildfires continues into Sunday.
- The combination of gusty winds, low humidity and extremely dry fuels will result in a continued elevated risk for wildfires today. A Fire Danger Statement is in effect from 10 AM to 8 PM for all southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia counties today.
• 2) Mostly dry conditions through mid-week with above normal temperatures.
- High pressure builds across the region this week, favoring a warming trend. Highs in the low-mid 80s will be common away from the coast heading into the middle of the week.
