The end of each year brings reflection. This one marks 7 years since Two Dots Studio was incorporated.

It has not been a straight road and it certainly has not been easy. There were years we had to knock on doors over and over again. Years that, looking back now, make us wonder how we are still standing.

What made it all possible were the people.

Our collaborators. Our clients. Friends. Family. Community.

Trust sounds simple, but it is everything. Surround yourself with good people and it changes what is possible.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, believed in us, worked alongside us, and trusted us with your stories. We do not take that lightly.

Looking forward to serving you in 2026.

And the Christmas party. Pure joy. Silliness. Laughter. A reminder of why we love what we do and who we get to do it with.

At Two Dot Studios, our mission is to amplify the impact of purpose-driven companies through compelling video storytelling.

This year, we had the privilege of producing SECU’s 2025 Annual Impact Video, celebrating the thousands of lives touched by one organization’s commitment to building stronger communities.

For more than 20 years, the has invested over $300 million in scholarships, grants, and loans, funded entirely by members who give just $1 a month. One simple act of generosity that has created ripples of change across North Carolina.

Projects like this remind us why we do what we do: capturing stories of real change that touch lives, inspire people, and strengthen communities.

We are grateful to the SECU Foundation for trusting us with their story, and to every organization that shares our vision of the value in documenting impact. Thank you for allowing us to support you as you support others. Together, we can continue amplifying the stories that shape our future.

Our team at .studio partnered with the to document the incredible disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Helene. Day 1 took us to , where we captured the heart and hustle of this amazing organization as they worked tirelessly to support the community with food and essentials during a time of immense need.

Storytelling in moments like these is more than just pointing a camera—it’s about preserving history as it unfolds. Through these stories, we aim to create awareness, educate the public, and shine a light on the brilliant work being done in times of crisis.

Day 1 of two days where we filmed the story of Justin Hefner in partnership with . On a separate project with SECU Foundation, we got introduced to One Place , a child advocacy centre in Onslow county. At the end of that filming day, the Director Dawn and Ann Marie got talking with our Producers, .creates and that conversation led to this partnership. Serendipitous, fate, whatever we call it, we are so happy to be telling this story that sheds light on sexual abuse, the impact it has on all involved and highlighting the organisations that are there helping people through their recovery.

Having Justin entrust us helping visualise his story is the core essence of our studio, helping people tell stories that typically are silenced and through those stories we celebrate hope and change.

A great way to start the week at with . This state of the art facility supports families and kids with Autism. The moment you walk in, you feel the care and level of detail that goes into the services Aces for Autism provides. Warm smiles greet each family, friendly faces guide the kids through the amazing space and fun activities await each kid.

Many families are on waiting lists to receive this kind of care. Care desperately needed to support families and kids with Autism. This place was started by two parents who understood what it took to provide the right level of care. They traveled three hours to receive care in the past which drove the idea of raising money to bring services to their own community.

We are glad to cover this story and hope many others can learn how to support the needs of your community. If it doesn't exist, there are many who would be willing to help you build it.

A sneak peek behind the scenes of our soon to release brand video celebrating 100th year anniversary.

It's not often that brands last a century, enduring all the shifts and evolutions, shaping and reshaping to fit the times, listening for cues and clues from voices within and beyond that reflect in the brands voice.

100 years on, we get to enjoy the museum as it stands today, a place that invites all, and all who's invited gets to call this place their own.

Watch this space as we come close to releasing the final brand film next week.

Small local businesses are the heart of rural towns in North Carolina. Capturing their story allows us to learn about the purpose, vision and goals of these companies. All of them share similar challenges in today's economy. The boom of big manufacturing companies set competitive pricing that these small businesses can't compete with. Most of them are concerned if they will be able to sustain their business and the jobs they support.

Even though many obstacles are stacked against them, the pride, grit and positivity these two owners had left us feeling hopeful that the future isn't that grim.

The two owners stood tall, smiled and were proud of the business and people they support.

Let's help support local businesses and take time to learn about their offerings. I'm certain they are willing to meet you where you're at and actually hear about your needs.

They need you as much as you need them.

Documenting impact is our mission for 2024. When you listen closely, you hear the rumbling of amazing, human centered initiatives happening around us. Without experiencing it first hand, it sometimes slips by the waist side and the efforts go unrecognised. Today we got to celebrate the impact of the team at through the

Hearing about the crucial programs designed to support child wellbeing and the importance of child mental health at made it abundantly clear that this needs to be available in all counties across the country. This is an example of how early family support systems help not only the kids but the family and the larger community in preventing things like child abuse and neglect.

We encourage more human centered organisations to share their story and create a co-learning environment that allows communities to learn from each other and create solutions together.
