Altered Ministries was launched as a result of participating in women’s prison ministry.

Altered Ministries was launched as a result of 2 friends (Jayne Patton and Jessica Smith) participating in women’s prison ministry. After seeing what the Lord was doing behind the physical walls of a maximum security level facility through the Beauty for Ashes program, they felt called to offer the same style of teaching to women sitting outside the prison walls. Having both been raised in the church, they recognized that there were still many women who, while not physically incarcerated, remained in prison cells of their own making. There are emotional prisons, mental prisons, situational prisons and more that women still need to be set free from. We believe that Jesus came to set the captives free from every sort of bo***ge. We believe that God still alters lives today and has the ability to transform anyone who puts their trust and faith in Him alone. That being said, we bring conferences and events through the local church and other ministries to encourage women through inspiring biblical messages of hope and faith. We pray that through the messages, worship, prayer team and various breakout sessions women will fall in love with Jesus and experience everything He has planned for them.
