✨ What We Learned This Week at Collide Kidz ✨

This week, our kids learned that love isn’t just something we say — it’s something we DO. 💛
Through the story of The Good Samaritan and our memory verse “We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19), we talked about what it truly looks like to shine God’s light.

👶 Collide Littles learned:
• Everyone matters to God
• Kindness shows God’s love
• Helping others makes Jesus happy

🧒 K–3rd graders discovered:
• Love sees people
• Love helps people
• Love takes action

🧑 4th–6th graders were challenged:
• Compassion is a choice, not just a feeling
• Loving others means showing up, even when it’s hard

Our prayer is that our kids don’t just learn about Jesus — they live like Him, choosing kindness, compassion, and courage every day. 🌟

So proud of what God is doing in their hearts. We can’t wait to see how they put love into action this week! 💕✝️

✨ What We Learned at Collide Kidz Today! ✨

Today was all about letting God’s light lead us 🌟 and wow—our kids showed up with listening ears and open hearts!

👶 Collide Littles learned that God helps us follow His voice
👣 We played Follow the Leader and reminded each other:

🧒 K–3rd Grade discovered that God uses obedience to help others know Jesus
🎯 Through games and listening activities, they learned that when we listen and obey, God can use us in big ways!

👦 4th–6th Grade talked about partnering with God on purpose
💭 We had powerful conversations about hearing God’s prompting, choosing obedience, and asking Him daily:
🙏 “Who can I help today?”

✨ Collide Kidz Recap — What We Learned Yesterday! ✨

Yesterday was such a powerful start to our new series “Light Up the City” 💛

Our kids learned that because Jesus lives in them, they can shine His light everywhere they go—even in hard or scary moments. Through the story of Daniel in the lion’s den, they discovered that:

🌟 God is with them when they’re scared
🌟 God protects His people
🌟 Their faith and choices can point others to God

From glowing flashlights and prayers to sharing how they can shine at school this week, our kids were reminded that light shines brightest in dark places ✨

⭐️ COLLIDE KIDZ – WEEK 2 RECAP ⭐️
“Follow the Star: The King Has Come!” 👑🌟

Today was such a sweet and powerful day in Collide Kidz as we learned all about the wise men and the star that led them straight to Jesus!

👶 Toddlers & Preschoolers followed the “star” with flashlights and learned:
👉 Jesus is our King, and we follow Him!

🎒 K–3rd Grade discovered that just like the wise men followed the star, we follow Jesus today by listening to His Word and His voice.

🧩 4th–6th Grade went deeper, talking about what it really means to follow Jesus as King—on purpose, with focus, and with obedience—because Jesus is the Light in the darkness.

✨ Big Truth We Learned:
Jesus is the true King, and disciples follow Him.

“We saw His star… and have come to worship Him.” – Matthew 2:2

We are so proud of our kids for learning, worshiping, and growing as followers of Jesus! 💙

💥 WEEK 5 RECAP — MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Today Collide Kidz wrapped up our “Operation: Disciple” series with Matthew 28:18–20 — The Great Commission!
Your babies learned that Jesus sends ALL of us to share His love everywhere we go! 🌍✨

They:
• Flew around the room with paper planes shouting “Go tell everyone!”
• Heard the story: Jesus told His friends to share the Good News.
• Prayed: “Help me tell my friends about You.”

🎒 K–3rd Grade

They learned:
• Jesus gave us a BIG mission — to go and make disciples.
• We can tell people about Him at school, home, and in our neighborhood.
• The Holy Spirit goes with us! 🙌

Activity Highlights:
• Kids acted out real-life ways to share the Good News — at school, on the playground, with friends, and even at home!.

🧠 4th–6th Grade

Our preteens broke down Jesus’ commands: Go. Teach. Baptize.
They discovered:
• Every disciple is a missionary.
• The Holy Spirit empowers our mission.
• We finish strong by helping others follow Jesus.

We even commissioned them as “Agents for Christ” to carry out the mission beyond today!

🌟 Bottom Line:

Jesus sends us out — and we don’t go alone. We go with His authority, His love, and His Spirit!

🌟 MISSION POSSIBLE: WEEK 4 – OPERATION: DOUBLE AGENT

Scripture: Matthew 16:24–26
Main Idea: Following Jesus means choosing Him daily.
Memory Verse: Matthew 16:24

Today our Collide Kidz learned what it truly means to follow Jesus with courage, loyalty, and a whole heart. We talked about saying no to our old ways and yes to God’s way—every single day!

Our littlest disciples learned that Jesus carried His cross because He loved us!
They played Follow the Leader with a toy cross, made popsicle-stick cross crafts, and prayed, “Jesus, I follow You every day!”

🎒 K–3rd Grade

Kids explored what it means to “take up your cross” in real life.

Key Truths:
• Following Jesus takes courage
• Our choices show our loyalty
• Jesus is worth everything

They wrapped up with a “Decision Cross” craft, drawing things they want to surrender to God.

🧠 4th–6th Grade

Our preteens dug deep into peer pressure, identity, and what it means to follow Jesus boldly.
They reflected on areas where they need to say “yes” to Jesus every day.

Key Truths:
• Discipleship requires a daily yes
• Sacrifice leads to life
• Our identity is in Christ, not the world

Collide Kidz are growing into strong, bold disciples—one powerful choice at a time. Jesus is worth everything, and they’re learning to follow Him with their whole hearts!

🌟 COLLIDE KIDZ — WEEK 3 RECAP!
OPERATION: MISSION FIELD 🚀

Today our Kidz learned that Jesus sends us out to show God’s love to others!
Scripture: Matthew 10:1–8
Memory Verse: “Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8

And family… your kids LIVED this out today!

This morning we hosted our very first Breakfast-Giving, and the Kidz created Mission Cards and Encouragement Cards—then went out and passed them out to people as an act of love and kindness. They didn’t just learn the lesson… they became the lesson.

They dove deep into what it means to “freely give,” discussed ways to serve their community, and designed encouragement cards to bless others.

💥 MISSION POSSIBLE: WEEK 2 – OPERATION: TRAINING CAMP

This week our Collide Kidz learned that when we listen and obey Jesus, our life is built on solid rock! 🪨✨

📖 Scripture: Matthew 7:24–27
🧠 Main Idea: When we listen and obey Jesus, our life is built on solid rock.
💬 Memory Verse: “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise…” — Matthew 7:24

🏗️ We learned:
1️⃣ Disciples are learners.
2️⃣ We practice what Jesus teaches.
3️⃣ Obedience makes us strong!

💪 Our classrooms turned into training camps—from building houses on “rock” vs. “sand,” to creating “Blueprints for Life,” and even training our hearts to follow Jesus through daily discipline!

📚 We also went deeper with a fun Books of the Bible Scramble, racing to put God’s Word in order — because knowing the Word helps us stand firm on His truth!

🌟 MISSION POSSIBLE: Week 1 – OPERATION CALLED OUT! 🌟

This month, our Collide Kidz are on a mission to Follow Jesus! 💪✨
Theme Verse: “Come, follow me,” Jesus said. — Matthew 4:19

💥 Main Idea: Jesus calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things!
This week we learned that:
1️⃣ Jesus sees you right where you are.
2️⃣ He calls you by name.
3️⃣ Following Him means leaving behind old ways and stepping into purpose!

👶 Our Toddlers & Preschoolers learned that Jesus calls them to be His friends and helpers! They had fun “fishing” in our sensory sea, made colorful fish prints, and practiced saying, “Yes, Jesus!” 🐟💙

🎒 Our K–3rd Agents discovered that Jesus calls each of us on purpose! They made “Agent Badges” to remind them that they are chosen and said, “Jesus, I choose You!” 🙌

🧠 Our 4th–6th Graders learned that God’s call sometimes interrupts our plans—but when we drop our “nets” (fear, anger, doubt), we make room to follow Him fully. 🕊️💥

👣 This week’s mission:
➡️ Say “YES” to Jesus every morning.
➡️ Remember—when Jesus calls, it’s always worth it!

🌟 WEEK 4 RECAP: “Choosing God’s Path” 🌟
This week in Collide Kidz, we talked all about The Game of Life — and how out of all the choices we’ll make as we grow… the most important choice is to follow Jesus. 💛

We learned from Joshua 24:15 where Joshua declares,

“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.””

The kids explored how:
🎯 Our choices matter
💒 Following Jesus is a daily walk
🤝 God is always with us as we choose His way
💗 And we don’t have to have everything figured out — we just have to say yes to Him.

And family… the best part?
✨✨ Two of our Collide Kidz made the decision to give their lives to Jesus! ✨✨
Heaven rejoiced. We rejoiced. And we are still rejoicing! 🙌😭💕

These kids are understanding who God is, who they are in Him, and what it means to walk with Him every day. This is discipleship. This is purpose. This is why we do what we do!

✨ WEEK 2 RECAP: “Guess Who? — Knowing Who We Are in Christ” ✨

🎲 Today in Collide Kidz, we learned that discovering who we are in Jesus is even better than winning a round of Guess Who!

💡 Main Idea:
People might try to label us by what we look like, what we’ve done, or what others say—but our true identity is found in Christ!

📖 Scripture:
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession…” — 1 Peter 2:9

🧠 Lesson Highlights:
• We played Guess Who to explore how we figure out identity.
• We flipped negative labels into God’s truth with our Identity Flip Charts.
• We discovered that when we know who we are in Jesus, it changes how we live, think, and love others.

🎯 Challenge of the Week:
Speak one truth about who you are in Christ out loud every day!
Example: “I am chosen.” “I am loved.” “I am God’s masterpiece.”

🙏 Prayer Focus:
Ask God to remind you of who you are in Him—and to help you reject the lies of the world.

🎉 COLLIDE KIDZ RECAP — WEEK 1: UNO! 🎉
🃏 Theme: “Playing by God’s Rules”
📖 Scripture: Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

This Sunday was a total BLAST — we kicked off our brand-new series GAME ON! with a special Pop-Tarts & PJs Party! 🍓🩵 Kids came cozy, hungry, and ready to learn that just like UNO has rules, God’s Word gives us the ultimate guide for life! 🙌

💡 Lesson Highlights:
➡️ We played a silly round of UNO with made-up rules (and it got wild 😆) to show how confusing things get when we don’t follow the right ones!
➡️ We learned that God’s Word helps us stay on track, make good choices, and live with peace and joy.
➡️ Kids made their own “Life UNO Cards” — each one filled with a verse or encouragement to share with someone this week! 💌

🎯 Challenge of the Week:
Read one verse from Psalms or Proverbs each day and share your favorite one with a friend or family member! 💬
