Blessings ! God’s power can turn a situation for the better! Job 38-42
God appeared to Job and questioned him in the midst of the storm. He said:
1- Who is this who obscures plans with foolish words?
3- Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
4- Who can count the clouds at the windows? Who can hold back the wineskins of heaven?
5- Who has put wisdom in the heart? Who has given understanding to the heart?
Job answered God:
I know that you can do all things, and that no thought can be withheld from you.
So the Lord blessed the end of Job more than his beginning.
1- every man gave him a piece of money
2- The Lord blessed him with goirteen thousands sheep , six thousands camels,Thousands yoke of oxen, anda thousand she asses. He has seven sons and three daughters.

1-The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble
2- The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive . He shall be blessed upon the earth. And thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of the enemies.
3- The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing , thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness . Psalms 41:1-3

1-What is the difference between the Word and the power of God?
a) The Word teaches us fables
b) The Spirit teaches us the truth.
2-Can we be edified by fables and the truth?
c- Fables are based on persuadable speeches
d- The truth is a demonstration of the Spirit and power.
Jesus says in John 8:31, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free," meaning that the Spirit of God transforms our lives and brings us back into the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 4:20 The kingdom of God is not in words, but in power.

What pleases God?
1 Corinthians 1:31

What does this verse mean?
He who glories, glory in the Lord.
1- This means that God wants the one who glories to glorify Him
for his understanding and for knowing that He is the true God.
2- And know that it is He who exercises
a) His goodness
b) His mercy
c) And justice on earth
For God speaks in Jeremiah 9:23:
1- Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom
2- Let not the mighty man glory in his strength
3- Let not the rich man glory in his riches.

How can we please God?
According to Psalms 118; it says: Praise the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy endures forever.
Jesus himself, after God had given him authority over all flesh to give eternal life, prayed and glorified God (John 17:4), saying, "I have glorified you on earth, and I am finishing the work you gave me to do."

The Conversion of the City of Nineveh: Nahum 1:1-7
What is the prophet Nahum's message about Nineveh concerning God?
1- God is a jealous God
2- He takes revenge against his adversaries
3- He holds a grudge against his enemiesWho are God's adversaries and enemies?
Answer: All those who do not serve God and worship other gods and graven images.
Luke 13:3 Jesus said to the people, "If you do not convert and repent, you will all perish in your idols."
Comment: God created us in his image; we are his children, and he cares about us; his love for us is endless. He wants us to be a child, who loves him with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind. He is slow to anger, He gives us time to return to Him for repentance and obtains mercy.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
