Brynn Pezzuti was a WCUR DJ from 2010 to 2012, rotating co-hosts and forming multiple shows.
The time and day of her shows? “ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ”
With two of her closest college friends, Dillion and Joe, Brynn’s first show was called “Two Guys, One Brynn” and co-hosted “NEPA Takeover” with another music-loving friend, Courtney.
Pop Punk was Brynn’s go-to, discovering new music from whatever was sent to the station.
Her shows were structurally unstructured. She’d play anything she wanted.
Brynn was notorious for making show pages, an earlier version of the many Instagram pages our current DJs have for their shows.
During her freshman year, every available surface in the WCUR station was covered by vinyls, CDs, and stickers. The stickered coffee tabletop from 2012 (with coffee stains intact) hangs in the studio today.
“It was a safe haven to just hang out.”
