A Psalm for This Week
(These I write personally. Not from Bible. Just personal prayers.)
Psalm 1
Lord God, You are awesome in Your glory
Worthy of our praise and worship.
You are our shield and our strength
Our Creator and sustainer.
You created us
And You breathed life into us
So that we might live
And one day come to know You
In a personal relationship of faith.
You have gifted us with Your grace.
When we look into Your grace
We see light
And that light surrounds us
So that we may see the path we are to walk.
Our walk with You is joyous
Filled with goodness and mercy and love.
So we are grateful to call You our Father
As we come before You in these moments.
May we find in You our peace and redemption
May we experience the release of Your forgiveness
And the freedom to follow You in faith.
Today would You bless us.
Would you enable us to follow You.
By Your Spirit would You seal us in Christ
That we may serve You faithfully.
Encourage us today with Your presence.
Amen.
