Raw, cleaned clams into the freeze dryer on 'quick start' = fresh clams for 25 years! We LOVE clamming and can't wait to get back to the coast, we got new shovels and bags for Christmas and have been dying to put them to use. I'm a Pacific Northwest girl and even though I'm still relatively close in central Oregon, the coast feels like a lifetime away.

Homemade dog treats!

How to do it:
Dehydrate at 150 for 24-36 hours
OR
Bake at around 200 with the oven door propped open and a fan running in to the oven for airflow.
OR
Freeze dry them? I'm trying this next and will update the caption with times & results.

For our snakes! 🐍

I've have kept snakes for almost 20 years and was finally ready to stop supporting the frozen rodent industry. To me, what makes animal husbandry and meat ethical is primarily that the animals get to lead natural lives where they get to experience and express all of the behaviors that make them what they are. I want my quail to be able to act like quail and live a "quail life". Same for my rabbits and chickens.
