This might be the most epic hike in Glacier National Park 🥾✨

I was torn between this and Iceberg Lake and went with Grinnell and don’t regret it for a second. Multiple alpine lakes, towering peaks, and a literal glacier at the top. If you only have time for one hike in the park, make it this one.

This was hands down one of my favorite days in the park.

📍 We started the day with the iconic Grinnell Glacier hike, passing Swiftcurrent Lake, Lake Josephine, Grinnell Lake, and ending at the breathtaking Grinnell Glacier.

📍 Drove the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road and stopped at Logan Pass for panoramic mountain views.

📍 Ended the day at the crystal-clear waters of Lake McDonald, where the colorful rocks and sunset create pure magic.

If you only have one day in Glacier National Park, this itinerary packs in some of the park’s most unforgettable spots. But trust me, you’ll leave wishing you had more time.

No matter how many times I hike this trail, I fall in love with it more every single time. The best time to experience Vernal Fall in all its glory is in the spring, when the waterfall is absolutely roaring. Start early if you can, that’s when you’ll catch the full misty magic and feel like you’re walking through a cloud

📍 Location: Yosemite National Park
🥾 Hike: Vernal Fall → Nevada Fall
📏 Distance: ~ 7-8 miles round trip

🚗 Parking: Park at Curry Village / Half Dome Village or Yosemite Valley Trailhead Parking near Happy Isles, then walk or take the shuttle to the Happy Isles trailhead to start the hike to Vernal and Nevada Falls.
