Review: A haunting 'Nocturne' at the Other Space at Actors Company

And the review everyone has been waiting for....the LA TIMES. Was it worth the wait? ABSOLUTELY, Nocturne received a glowing review. Special thanks to David Nichols for his support.

"Belgian actor George Regout makes an impressive North American stage debut (in a haunting NOCTURNE at The Other Space). This imposing actor embraces Rapp's daunting text with layered commitment, which carries us to the redemptive climax of this idiomatically searing soliloquy." - David Nichols, LA Times

“Fifteen years ago I killed my sister.” That stark, matter-of-fact statement launches “Nocturne,” and its embedded significance is inexorable and intense.

Audience reaction to Adam Rapp's NOCTURNE is tremendous.

"We were entranced by George's sperformance and the excellent script. Larry and I both felt at some point whether in the father¹s apartment or soon after we lost our concentration for a while. Whether it was just we were emotionally drained or what we¹re not sure. For sure, it was just amazing for a first preview and it is a real treat to have a play of this caliber (script, acting & direction) come to LA. George is truly mesmerizing in this role- he is the son, he does not just act the son. It is a 10+ show for me."
