CD Broadcasting Presents: Juneteenth Boots on the Ground – A Celebration of Freedom, Unity, and
Economic Empowerment in Memphis
Memphis, TN – June 2, 2025 – CD Broadcasting, in partnership with Bumpin 96.3 FM, proudly announces
“Juneteenth Boots on the Ground,” a dynamic celebration of freedom and unity, taking place on June 19,
2025, at 1069 Doctor M.L.K. Jr Ave, Memphis, TN.
This year’s event will bring together over 100 local business owners for a vibrant day filled with music,
food, and community engagement. The theme, “Come eat that day and be able to eat from now on,”
reflects a commitment to honoring the legacy of Juneteenth while empowering attendees to build a
brighter, more prosperous future.
“Juneteenth Boots on the Ground is more than a celebration—it’s a movement,” said a spokesperson for
CD Broadcasting. “We are uniting the Memphis community to honor our past, uplift our present, and
invest in our collective future. By supporting local businesses and fostering connections, we are laying
the groundwork for lasting economic empowerment.”
Attendees can look forward to live music, delicious local cuisine, and opportunities to connect with
entrepreneurs and community leaders. The event is open to all who wish to celebrate freedom, support
Black-owned businesses, and join in the spirit of unity.
