Welp… a little double time rapping for my track “Dog Eat Dog,” coupled with quick gasps of dry bedroom air, and BOOM, pharyngitis.

It actually got pretty serious for a second. I ended up in the ER last night because the pressure of trying to push out multiple takes (after not rapping for a really long time) literally sprained the muscles around my rib cage. It felt like a deep bruise right next to my heart and lungs, which absolutely terrified me.

Thankfully, the doctors did an EKG, X-rays, and blood work and confirmed my heart and lungs are 100% fine. Turns out I just pushed so hard, tracking my verses over the course of two days, I gave myself a chest injury, caught a bacterial throat infection from the dry air, and made it worse walking to work in the heat.

I’m on day two of antibiotics and vocal rest. Chopper style really almost took me out. Take care of your lungs, y'all! 🎙️🤕

Consistency. Just trying to be consistent these days. I finally hit the “f**k it” button. I want it to be good, but even if it’s not great, I’m pushing it out. They feel like stains on my life.
