I haven’t posted much on the recent events because honestly, I have no clue what to say. My emotions have been everywhere - being depressed I’m not able to do what I love, to grateful that I have my health and family. I know that every single person has been impacted in some way, and we are truly all in this together.
With that being said - this nomination has meant so much to me and this little business I have built. It’s given me a light in all this darkness. I won’t lie, during the beginning of this whole pandemic, I felt defeated. With over 10 (and counting) weddings that have either had to be cancelled or postponed, combined with the uncertainty of when we will be able to celebrate love again, I didn’t think this crazy dream of mine was going to make it. However, between the amazing support from my fellow peeps in the industry, my amazing clients (past/present/future) and this nomination, I know everything is going to be alright.
I take pride in my storytelling ability and truly believe it sets me apart. To be nominated for MOST EPIC LOVE STORY has validated that belief. It’s given me the confidence that Carried Away Films will come out of this stronger and more passionate. I’m in a category with filmmakers who I’ve looked up to for such a long time - it’s truly such an honor.
So thank you. To for the nomination, to all of you for listening and watching and to and .bonk for letting me tell their epic love story. I ❤️ and appreciate you all!!!
