Last week was one to remember.

It was filled with reconnecting with old friends, meeting new faces, and sharing the kind of conversations that turn into lasting memories and meaningful connections.

On paper, it’s a summit—that’s what it’s designed for. But this year felt different. It felt more aligned with the vision of the board and the future we’re building together.

I’m grateful for every person, every conversation, and every opportunity to break bread with people who are genuinely invested in growing and strengthening this industry. The relationships built around the table will always matter more than what happens on the agenda.

Flow state. a psychological state of complete immersion, intense focus, and enjoyment in an activity.

Currently Living Life. Laying it all on the line while growing at the same time.

It ain’t me, it’s the God in me. All Praise to Jesus for moving in a big way.

People don’t get locked out… they wait to be let in.
This conversation with Pew Culture is about what happens when you stop waiting—and start building your own lane.

From backyard range days to changing the entire culture, this is what it looks like to create access, not just talk about it.

Season 4 of Off the Beaten Path continues.

SWIPE 👉🏽 I graduated with my Associate’s degree. 🎓

Two years. Coast to coast. Building from the ground up — finishing coursework from hotel rooms, airports, and event floors along the way.

Some would say I stretched myself thin. I’d say I grew in ways I didn’t know were possible.

B.B. King said it best — “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”

For me. For my business. For my family.

The journey continues. 🙏🏾

Faith first. Family next. Everything else after.

21 years. 21 years of love and work.
Arguments that lasted too long. Seasons where the money wasn’t there. Moments where we didn’t like each other. Career pivots that nobody had a roadmap for. Building something from nothing, including ourselves.

That’s the part nobody posts about.

But that’s also the part that made us.

The hard conversations didn’t break us, they built us. They’re part of our story. The struggle didn’t divide us, it solidified something neither of us could’ve become alone.

21 years in, I’m not just celebrating my wife. I’m celebrating who we made each other become.

That’s the real love story.

P.S.
4 for a relationship. Communication, comprehension, compromise, and comedy. Because I’m definitely laughing my way through some of the tough times.

Life lately. We’ve been to and from Texas, what seems like a million times, here in the last several weeks. S/O for ALWAYS putting on some dope events for us to hit. S/O to for the mile shot. This was my second time successfully hitting a target that was a mile out. It was dope to see how Kev adjusted for wind changes in real time.

Random picture of my wife as she almost always brightens up my day. Went golfing with my best bud

And ofc the Golden Girls!! S/O

And my baby girl supporting

Back to the real world I go.

Cheers.

Goodbye 2025. In no random order 9 things that were reinforced for me this year.

1. Brotherhood. I’ve leaned on my brotherhood this year more than any other friendship in my life. Men need our brothers to hold us up.

2. My faith. Ive@learned that im closest to God when I feel the furthest from him or my faith. Indescribable how God keeps showing up.

3. Fitness. After suffering an injury early this year, and my eating habits essentially being non-existent, it’s important to have grace while still practicing structure and intentional rest.

4, Apex Mountain. Our business has thrived and grown by leaps and bounds in ways only God can make happen. Happy to be at it with my best bud. Excited for 2026.

5. SAE International. As an alumnus, serving on the Academic board to help shape career paths for graduates moving into their next phase of life, has been incredibly meaningful to me.

6. Friendship. When growing a business and navigating the ebbs and flows of any industry, you slowly find your tribe. This year has been no different.

7. This year started off with my first ever hunt. Thanks to my brother Chandler. The memories from this event alone are countless. Since then our friendship has grown as well as discussing hunts and sharing in each others wins.

8. Supporting organizations and serving alongside these amazing women have been fulfilling in ways i didn’t imagine.

9. Family. Through it all — we have each other.
