Last week, I had the opportunity to go pheasant hunting with my best bud it was a reminder of the beauty found in slowing down, connecting with creation, and being present.

A huge thank you to for lending me her shotgun and cheering us on every step of the way. (Last slide Brit is screaming “HEY SNEEEWP”)

And to for opening doors for media to experience the field firsthand—what you’re building matters.

Some might not fully understand this, but moments like these feel like alignment: when purpose, passion, and faith all move in harmony. It’s more than just an activity—it’s confirmation that walking in a purpose-driven life sets everything into sync.

I miss this version of me.
4am wake ups.
1.5 hour gym session daily.
Reading 10 pages a day.
Asleep by 9pm. Repeat.

This is the end of 2023. Id dropped almost 100lbs, since then a lot has changed. I’ve gained a significant amount of weight back, 60lbs to be exact and began traveling far more consistently. building a business comes with highs and lows. My weight loss journey took the back seat while and I laid ground work for our new business. Creating content weekly helped keep me accountable. And that’s why this post is important. I’m going to go ahead and start documenting it again because it keeps me accountable to me. I like to see my progress. My work outs never ended but my eating went to the dumpster. So… here we go. Again.

Run N Gun – filmed on the ground at the biggest trade shows, mixing the latest gear with our own in-house sound: HipHop Beats by

2AR (coming soon) – a new channel for urban Latinos stepping into the outdoors and claiming their seat in the space. .oos

None of this is easy.

In real time. On our own terms.

There’s a quiet intimacy in black and white — a way it pulls you closer to the essence of a moment. But even in a world of grayscale, life requires color.

This visit to Ohio was more than a trip; it was a window into living history. We had the privilege of visiting one of the oldest duck hunting clubs in America — a place where legacy runs deeper than the water it overlooks. Since its founding nearly a century ago, the club has remained deliberately small: only 27 members, by tradition. Today, three of those members still carry the names and stories of their founding families. Some places don’t just preserve history — they become it.

2 Years Since my Baptism. Still Wrestling, Still Chosen

On July 30th, 2023, I was baptized. Since then, I’ve wrestled with my faith, like Jacob did with God, or like Jeremiah, who questioned the very plan he was called to proclaim.

This walk isn’t easy. Waking up each day and choosing Jesus—because He first chose us—takes real effort. And yet, that’s where grace and mercy meet us: not because we deserve it, but because Christ offers it freely. It rarely makes sense, and that’s okay. I know I don’t deserve it, and still, He gives it.

I’m sharing this to encourage any fellow believers who might be struggling: keep God first. I do, even when I don’t feel worthy. Truthfully, I haven’t been in the Word much lately. Some days, doubt creeps in. But I haven’t stopped talking to God. Morning, afternoon, evening. Before a meeting, after one, He hears from me constantly. I refuse to shut up.

Because no matter how I feel, this relationship matters more than anything. Especially when I feel undeserving, I remember: grace isn’t earned, it’s given. And I’m holding on to that.

So for my brothers and sisters. Keep on, keeping on. Because He’s better than good.
