Doctor Assists in His Ex-Girlfriend’s Labor—But Goes Pale the Moment He Sees the Baby
The maternity ward was overflowing that day. At a referral hospital in the heart of the city, there was hardly a quiet moment. The doctor had just finished a cesarean section when he received an urgent call: a patient in advanced labor, nearly fully dilated, needed the lead physician right away.
He quickly changed into a fresh gown and entered the delivery room. But the instant his eyes fell on the woman on the stretcher, he froze.
