For those who question the “No Kings” protest and say we don’t have a King can you explain this? Should states be expected to obey the Presidents every command? If not, the President will illegally withhold funding and intentionally damage your economy until you submit. This isn’t leadership. Meanwhile, Republicans who voted against this gerrymandered map are receiving death threats. America is not safer than it was last year.

Treating a basic civics reminder like it’s some kind of rebellion feels less like democracy and more like the kind of government where leaders expect blind obedience. It’s like yelling at a firefighter for pointing out where the fire exits are.

If obeying the Constitution is suddenly “suspicious,” then our democracy isn’t just flashing a warning light, it’s blaring the damn siren.
