The Power of Being Under Authority

You should never try to lead others if you yourself are unwilling to be led. The centurionโ€™s humility and recognition of authority moved Jesus Himself, so much so that He marvelled at his faith. Notice, the man did not boast of being above authority, but of being under it.

When you proudly embrace being under authority, you unlock divine backing. God honours protocol. Submission is not weakness but alignment. The centurionโ€™s words triggered a response from Heaven because Heaven recognises order. You always get Godโ€™s attention when you are found not above, but under authority.

If even a man of rank and influence testified, โ€œI am a man under authority,โ€ how much more should you? The pathway to spiritual strength is humility, and the covering you are under becomes the channel through which Godโ€™s help flows.
