OTB is a small company started in 2011 by Jacob "Illest-Trait" Lee. As an inspiring artist myself I saw that there were a lot of things an independent artist has to do and unfortunately, like most indie artist I had no help doing these task like promotion, graphics, mixing, etc. Seeing an opportunity to fulfill a need in the music industry I changed my vision to opening a record label type company
with a new unique twist. They pay for studio time, promo, music videos, travel, everything. All the artist must do is focus on creating quality music. OTB does the same thing but with a new perspective. In today’s music industry labels are growing less likely to sign indie artist. This is where OTB can help. The artist must make the investments instead of the label. For example an artist can pay us to produce a music video and then when they release it they alone reap the benefits that it achieves, whereas because a large record label invest in the artist they take a large percentage of any money made leaving the artist with only 8-2 percent of profits in some cases. OTB will allow the artist to grow and gain exposure without sacrificing profits and creative freedom.
