Airport Road was soup in spots yesterday, expect more of the same when it thaws later in the day. 125 and 130 were decent but had already started to freeze last night when I went down them. Wykagel was muddy when I left, frozen when I came home, so expect more mud later today. Highway to Pueblo was went in spots and dry from Wetmore on. Not going out in a car today unless it’s an emergency. These last trips have earned me a break. My body says so. Have a great day and stay safe!

Got home last night, Rosita from down by Bear Basin was in pretty good shape, roads that I took through Blumenau were good, Antelope Valley Road (323?) was washboarded pretty badly, Cat Ballou could be better and had some patchy snow/ice, Spread Eagle Dr was same at Cat Ballou. My driveway sucked, but it always does. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

We all know people that refuse to put their children into car seats while you’re driving, claiming they’ll pay your ticket, but why don’t you all ask a local deputy what happens if there’s an accident and any of those children perish. Are they going to do your prison sentence too? Just a word to the wise.

Motorcycle wreck on 50 and 9, flight for life took off an hour ago, at that time traffic was at a standstill. No current updates.

Good evening folks, haven’t been doing a lot of local drives, mostly out of state. Copper Gulch is a little rutted and bumpy, especially in an old pickup truck! Same with Airport Road, Wykagel, Sangre, 321, 323, 319 and 318. Medano Pass is a bu**er from highway back in to camping areas, and that’s about the only roads I’ve been on as of late. Headed out of state and back 3 separate times in 3 weeks, so I won’t really have any good updates. Feel free to comment under this post with local updates in my absence. Safe driving for all of us, I pray! 🙏

Monday Traffic Delays Planned: Starting at 6am on Monday CDOT and Langstons will be working at the intersection of Highway 96 and Highway 165 (Mackenzie Junction). The work will include removing rockfall and a realignment of lanes. The work could continue into Tuesday. Please plan on extra time when traveling through the construction 🚧 zone.
