The Deep Exhaustion of Always Trying to Be Okay
Sometimes the heaviest weight isnโt what happens to us, itโs the effort of holding it together so no one notices. Smiling when youโre tired. Saying โIโm fineโ when youโre not. Calming yourself down in silence because you donโt want to burden anyone else.
This constant self-management might look like strength on the outside, but inside, it quietly drains you. The exhaustion isnโt just from life, itโs from carrying your emotions alone, unacknowledged and unseen.
Being โokayโ all the time is not the same as being well. Sometimes what we need most is not more strength, but a space where our truth can be held without judgment.
You donโt always have to be the strong one.
