Happy Mindfulness Day!! 🧘🏼‍♀️

A fun challenge for you!! Today I invite you to learn more, lean in, and listen to your inner most self.

Connect with what you need, or perhaps disconnect to be more present. ⏰

I encourage you to head to my website to learn a little more about what can do for you.

And try a short meditation, a mindful walk, recharging your batteries, some slow deep breathing, or set some intentions today. Notice what feels good today, and what may just feel okay. And honor those feelings❤️

There are so many ways to incorporate mindfulness into what we do every day, and these practices have the power to change our lives for the better 💕

It’s important to understand that mindfulness is a journey. It does not have a straight path. It does not have an end point.

Mindfulness is a practice and it’s deeply personal. It is often in a state of ebb and flow. 🌊 Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes it’s easy. Sometimes it’s even uncomfortable❤️

Mindfulness does not need to look a certain way to be effective. It’s important to trust the process and make your practice your OWN.

With mindfulness, we are invited to explore the path with curiosity, compassion, and kindness.

When we are stuck on yesterday or we are constantly worrying about what is next — we lose out on the now, we lose out on little joys, we lose the opportunity to feel at peace.

When you go throughout your day today, tell yourself that you are safe, that you are okay, and ground yourself in the here in the now.💕

When we are fully present, we open our mind to love, boundless joy, and endless possibilities 💫

So….what exactly IS mindfulness?

Simplest terms? Mindfulness is the skill of being present in the moment.✨

The practice of mindfulness gives us the ability to bring our awareness to the here and now, the ability to take a breath and make more thoughtful decisions that improve our lives.

Doesn't that sound wonderful?

Countless research studies have proven that mindfulness has many significant psychological, cognitive, and physical benefits.

Mindfulness is extremely powerful. For all ages. It takes us beyond coping and making do. Mindfulness techniques help us grow, flourish, thrive, and live a more compassionate, fulfilled life. ☀️
