Weekend Forecast- Sept 11-13🇺🇸

It is hard to do a weather forecast on such a tough day. We will always remember those we lost in the terror attacks on September 11, 2001. May their lives never be forgotten, as well as to all the first responders who risked it all. The greatest heroes we will ever know.

🇺🇸Friday: 9/10☀ Clouds break and we will be sunny with low humidity. A nice breeze with high temps near 80

Saturday: 7/10 🌦 Clouds and humidity increase through the day and showers by evening. Overnight into Sunday will be quite rainy, but most of the daytime should be rain free. Highs near 80

Sunday 6/10🌦 Rainy morning, some clouds in the afternoon, and another round of showers in the evening. Likely after sunset. The day is not a washout! Highs in low 80s

Sunday: 9/10 ☀ Mostly sunny, a bit cool but no humidity with temps low 70s.

☀Monday: 10/10. Sunny, comfortable, no humidity, no rain. Temps near 80.

Here we go again! More showers/thunderstorms tonight. Here's the breakdown:

⚡Level 2/5 (yellow) and 1/5 (green) for scattered severe storms tonight

🕑Some sun may come out today, but it will feel like a sauna with increasing humidity. Storms may pop up around 4, but the strongest will be after dark (again)

📍Strongest storms will in southern NJ, PA, MD and DC metro

❗Main risks: lightning, small hail, winds over 60mph, flash flooding. No tornado risk today

🙄We may have to do it again tomorrow- but the rest of the weekend should be pretty nice! More info on that tomorrow

⛈SEVERE WEATHER- WEDNESDAY SEPT 2⛈

We're halfway through this stretch of severe weather! Today most of the storms will be concentrated over PA/SW NJ into Maryland.

🌪A couple of tornadoes possible, especially in central PA. Attached are images of our severe threats

⚡❗Overnight into tomorrow AM- lines of thunderstorms likely for most of the region. Lots of lighting, wind and flash flooding for the morning commute. Don't be surprised if you wake up to thunder!

⛈⚡SEVERE WEATHER- TUES SEPT 1⛈⚡

Rounds of storms likely today through tonight, with some severe expected:

⚠We are currently at a level 2/5 risk for severe weather, with the main threats being winds of 60-70mph, hail up to one inch and the possibility of a tornado🌪 or two

🕑Timing: 2pm in upstate NY/western CT, and move south through PA/NJ around 4pm. Severe threat should end after 9pm. Strongest storms/tornado threat from 4pm-7pm.

⚡Other concerns: a lot of lightning, and a lot of rain. Flash flooding is possible.

⛈‼️SEVERE WEATHER TUES - THURS⛈‼️

⚡A "Ring of Fire" setup is going to bring rounds of thunderstorms, with the possibility of flash flooding, lightning, hail and even a tornado or two.

While it's difficult to pin down exactly where storms will set up, here's a general idea:

🌧Monday: Showers later this afternoon into the evening will likely stay sub-severe, but could cause some ponding/isolated flash flooding across the region

⛈Tuesday: Rain is possible all day. Severe storms could start anytime after 2pm through midnight. These will have all hazards possible

⛈Wednesday: The worst of the storms will be across PA and western NJ, but there could be flash flooding for eastern NJ/shore. Strongest storms seem to come in the evening. All hazards possible

❓Thursday: Still a lot to iron out, but it looks like the threat will be for southern NJ/PA and areas south. More details to follow!

☀WEEKEND FORECAST AUG 28-30🌧

The last weekend of August is already here! Lets break it down:

Friday: 5/10🌦 It will be very muggy most of the day with high temps near 80. A cold front comes through tonight with some showers possible (more for Southern NJ) and a bit windy, but this will eliminate the humidity

Saturday: 9/10⛅️ Low humidity, partly cloudy. This will be the winner of the weekend! High temps in the low 80s

Sunday: 7/10🌦 This one's tricky. High pressure off the coast will make it more humid. As the day goes, clouds will increase and there's a chance of some showers in the afternoon/evening. Most models have winds increasing as well. Not a wash out! Highs mid 80s.

⛈SEVERE WEATHER RETURNS THURSDAY⛈

⚠️A level 2/5 (first pic) for severe weather will be in place tomorrow, along with a level 2/4 (second pic) flash flood risk. Let's go over the details:

🕙Timing: First storms could start around 10am, with the biggest severe/flash flood threat between 2pm and 9pm

🌪Storm mode: biggest threats will be vivid lightning, torrential downpours and winds 60-70mph, but there is also a low threat of small hail and a tornado or two

🌧Rain totals could reach 2-4" in areas with the strongest storms

*⃣ Not everyone will get severe storms/flash flooding, but most areas should receive SOME rainfall. A beautiful weekend to follow!

🌦Unsettled weather incoming! Let's break it down:

Friday- 10/10⛅Partly cloudy, less humidity, high temps in upper 70s. The best of bunch

Saturday- 6/10🌦 More humid, sun to start with clouds and some scattered storms by the afternoon, especially at the coast. High temps near 80

Sunday- 5/10⛈ Showers and thunderstorms (some severe) for most of the day, but some clearing is possible in the evening. High temps in lower 80s

⚠Flash flooding with a chance of strong winds and a tornado or two today, especially south.. lets break it down!

🕓Image 1: Timing of storms. Clouds will move in through the day, with the first rains starting after 3pm. The highest severe/flash flood threat will be from 5-11pm.

⛈Image 2: Severe potential. A level 2/5 for central/south NJ into MD and DE and SW PA (yellow). A level 1/5 in green region

🌪Image 3: Tornado threat. There is a 5% risk (brown) and 2%(green) for a tornado or two. Region that has my eye is Philly metro.

🌬Image 4: Wind threat. Possibility of 75mph winds (red) with 60-70 in yellow region. Brown region is isolated severe gusts

💧🌊Image 5: Flash Flood threat. Most of the i95 corridor is in a level 2/4 flash flood risk. THIS IS THE BIGGEST CONCERN TODAY, as 3-5+ inches of rain could fall for multiple regions.
