Mom just got home from the doctors office and they decided that she does have a mild concussion (because of dizziness with motion) and a whiplash injury. They put her on a muscle relaxer (cyclobenzaprine)and she is to continue with the ibuprofen.

The main thing is to not re-injure her head
She can go to work tomorrow, but has to be careful and not over use her brain.

Mom says I’m the best little girl in the world. I can rest now because I know that mom is OK.
Sunday while I was napping, mom was busy out and about and ended up falling down some garage stairs and hitting her head really really hard and had to go to the ER
They did a CT of her head and cervical spine both of which came back OK. But they told her she was gonna be sore for a few days and not to drive and to be off work until at least Wednesday.
I have had to take care of all day today. When she would get up and try to do too much I would lay on her chest to make her be still.
Her head hurts, but more where it hit the concrete than a headache
And when she tries to shift positions or get up out of the bed, her neck hurts really bad but it’s all muscular pain.
She has already recheck with the doctor tomorrow and she’s gonna get her hand checked out because she told them at the hospital that it hurt but they didn’t x-ray it there

And when she does try to get up and do too much or move quickly or turn too fast, she gets dizzy, so something’s still not all the way right but she will get better.
She fell and hit her head so far it knocked her shoes off her feet and she didn’t even realize it until she got up to look for her glasses and saw her shoes on the floor away from her. And they were sneakers. They were tied so you know that was a hard fall.

Anyway, mom is OK but I am worn out

Dis is my friend WOODY! Him is the groomer’s dog. He is a hungry caterpillar.

Woody is a dachshund/poodle mix. He used to be a very grouchy boy, but since his mom started using dog friendly hair dye on him, he loves loves, loves all the attention that he gets.

Mom agrees that the red face is a little too much. But honestly, Woody loves the attention that he gets when he gets a new color job. It has changed him for the better. He used to be vicious now he lets almost anyone pet him.

Don’t worry, we will never color guppy other than her ears and tail, and only as long as she tolerates it. If it appears to make her uncomfortable, we won’t do it.
