Ghosts of children. In life children are mainly not told about death. So if they pass away as children they cannot comprehend what has happened to them and be too confused to move on. It may take a guide or years of realization for them to finally move on. Or they may never pass over.

Thinking about The Abduction of Travis Walton in 1975. There was a movie made "Fire in the Sky" It was exaggerated but you would get the point. A lot was made of it being hoaxed but why would the rest of the logging crew just go with the story? Also where did Travis go for 5 Days?
