We’ve been busy which means we haven’t had much time to post and interact.
We think it would be a good time to reintroduce ourselves to our followers and hopefully have some new people join us.

Welcome to the curious, slightly chaotic, always entertaining world of NightOwl Pickers.
We’re a Midwest husband-and-wife team of part-time resellers with a full-time obsession: the hunt. You’ll see me handling more of the socials, while Mr. NightOwl works behind the scenes to keep the wheels turning, the finds moving, and the occasional questionable purchase from taking over the house.
Give us an estate sale, auction, garage sale, thrift store, flea market—or one mysterious, dusty corner everyone else ignored—and we’re interested. What looks like clutter to someone else might be a hidden treasure, a rare collectible, a nostalgic time capsule, or a spectacularly bad idea we bring home anyway. 😂
For us, picking isn’t just about buying low and selling high. It’s about the questions:
What is it? Who made it? Why does it exist? Is it valuable—or merely weird enough to be irresistible?
We love uncovering the forgotten, unusual, nostalgic, and downright cool pieces that still have a story to tell. The thrill is in the discovery, the research, the negotiation, the listing—and, of course, finding out whether our “amazing score” is actually amazing.

We don’t know everything, and honestly, that’s part of the adventure. Every pick teaches us something. Sometimes it teaches us about history, craftsmanship, or market value. Sometimes it teaches us to inspect the bottom of the box before paying. Both lessons count.
NightOwl Pickers is about staying curious, learning together, sharing what we know, laughing at the bad buys, celebrating the unexpected wins, and chasing that next great find—even when it’s hiding under three layers of dust and a questionable ceramic figurine.
