Furfriends: Mommy and daddy are sad. My human sister’s 18 year old niece ( on her mom’s side) was hit and killed on the Kansas Turnpike Friday evening. Her and some friends were headed to our town, her car broke down and was smoking. Her friends ran across the highway and was down in a ditch while she stayed to take a look at the car. She then started to run across the highway to where her friends were and was hit by a van, probably going 80 mph. Her friends watched in horror. Luckily the van did stop and cooperated with the police. Mommy said she had just started college and had a bright future ahead of her. She was sweet and very smart. Please say some prayers for that side of the family. They are having a very difficult time right now. Mommy and daddy of course knew her, daddy’s known her since she was born and mommy has known her since she was somewhere between 3 and 6…she can’t quite remember when. Her funeral is Saturday.
Anyway, we ask you once again to be patient with us. Mommy’s still trying to get caught up from her trip home to Alaska. We love you and thank you in advance. 🙏🏻
