π£ Hey yβall! So this is kind of a long post, but I wanted to take a second to introduce (or reintroduce) myself and my girls to all the awesome people here in the fishing community. Iβve noticed a lot of new faces following lately, and I just want to say how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you for being here and supporting us. β€οΈ
For those who donβt know, Iβm Keylee, and I share all my fishing adventures with my two daughters. Life wasnβt always like this for me β I struggled with addiction for a long time. When I finally came into recovery, I found myself searching for ways to fill the time and space that used to be consumed by old habits. Then I picked up a rod and reelβ¦ and everything changed. Fishing gave me a sense of peace and purpose Iβd been searching for but never found anywhere else. That was all it took. My girls and I went full send from that moment on. π£πͺ
Now let me brag on my girls a little:
β¨ My oldest daughter isnβt all that into the act of fishing (she says the worms and slime arenβt her vibe π), but sheβs my photographer, videographer, and the creative eye behind most of what yβall see posted. If you ever see her holding a fish in a photo, just know it was guaranteed photoshopped. π€£
β¨ My youngest, on the other hand? Sheβs my little fishing partner in crime! She LOVES it. She even holds our current PB with a 19 lb flathead she reeled in on a Hellcat rod down at the river! π Sheβs all about catching bait and chasing down river monsters with me.
But at the end of the day, the biggest catch out there isnβt a trophy fish β itβs the time we get to spend with each other. No electronics, no distractionsβ¦ just us, swapping stories, laughing, and making memories on the water. πΆπ
We may not be the best fisherladies out there, but weβre out there loving every minute of it β and weβre so thankful to have yβall along for the ride. π£β€οΈ
