A Pixar vocal chain. We welcome a Brauner VM1 and a Focusrite RED 7 to the arsenal. These two pair very well for voice over work but I've been enjoying them on other sources too. The Brauner in Omni mode sounds extra good, just make sure you're in a good sounding room. The channel strip gives us a lot of control over dynamics, including a de-esser.

immersive was a cool experience. We enjoyed Nashville trying new things this time. No studio stuff. Great pizza and ice cream. Even Taco Bell has live music! The rain didn't stop the fun either.

The location sound workshop hosted by AES Atlanta at .audio was an insane knowledge bomb drop. It was incredible to learn more about this side of audio.

Stopped at (twice). I had not been there in years (pre-Covid) and every time it's bigger and better. Wow! This time Abby had a chance to go down the slide!
