Dear Whiskey Community,

After six incredible years of sharing our love for whiskey with all of you, Dana and I have made the bittersweet decision to step away from our beloved podcast and charity. It’s been an incredible journey filled with countless memorable moments, enlightening conversations, and of course, some truly exceptional drams.

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us along the way. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just recently joined our whiskey-filled adventures, your enthusiasm and encouragement have meant the world to us.

Through this podcast, we’ve had the privilege of not only exploring the vast and fascinating world of whiskey but also forging meaningful relationships and friendships with fellow enthusiasts like yourselves. Your passion for whiskey has been infectious, and it’s been an absolute joy to share our experiences with such a vibrant and welcoming community.

While Dana and I may be bidding farewell to our roles as hosts and events, we’re thrilled to announce that the show will indeed go on! We’re currently in the process of interviewing prospective hosts who share our passion for whiskey and are eager to continue the legacy we’ve built together. Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way as we hand over the reins to the next chapter of this podcast.

As we embark on this new journey, we carry with us cherished memories and profound gratitude for the friendships we’ve cultivated and the connections we’ve made. Our love for whiskey and the community it fosters will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Casey’s legendary ingenuity and passion inspired his grandson Arlon Casey Jones to follow in his footsteps. Casey built his last still in 1967. AJ used that still, which is on display in the Casey Jones Distillery Lounge, as a guide to build the still we use today. As our Master Distiller, AJ handcrafts every batch of Casey Jones spirits using a recipe that has been handed down through generations of the Jones family. A family recipe cooked in a family still – it doesn’t get more authentic than that.

The Cask Chasers Story (so far)

Who are we? To some of you, we are already well-known. To others, you are hearing about us for the first time. Whoever you are, thank you for taking the time to "like" our page.

Cask Chasers is a public page and Podcast (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/cask-chasers-podcast/id1493103320?fbclid=IwAR2JnyVYeTu9LU97-uRNuauBZf2qG0O9a-ZFbinhqnlKujt9bdgXCtSDHM8) born out of a private group (Cask Chasers). If you are not a member of the group, please consider giving us a look. If you ARE a member of the group already, you will still see a few things here that you won't in the group. Essentially, as we had events, conversations, and tastings, we discovered that there are people who are interested in what we are doing and what we have to say that don't necessarily want to "dive in" and play in the group.

We are a group of women and men who share an affinity for whisk(e)y of all types. Whether you are a novice or a connoisseur, you are welcome. Here, you'll find whiskey reviews, purchase advice, camaraderie, and good clean fun along with the occasional ribbing. We have monthly tastings with a different theme each month. No question is a dumb question! We are all here to grow together and no matter who you are, there is a place for you here. Further, we have found that the whisk(e)y community is one of the most giving and generous groups of people we have ever been honored to call ourselves a part of. And from that was born our desire to do something bigger than ourselves. We strive to help out our local communities, charities, and more in any way we can.

Functionally, we want this page to serve as the public side of Cask Chasers and the Cask Chasers Podcast. As we have charity events, outreach, etc., we want others to be able to get a glimpse of what we are about. We can’t wait to see where this goes.
