Founded in 2013 by multi instrumentalist Nick Schacht, NJS Entertainment strives to offer services within the music industry that go above and beyond expectations. NJS Entertainment was formed on the basis of sharing the joys of music with the public along with offering services related to the music, entertainment, and arts. Multi-instrumentalist and artist, Nick Schacht (Pronounced "SHOT") offers

live performances, private music instruction and general music/art/entertainment consultation. If we are unable to directly provide services we keep a close network of other trusted individuals and companies who share similar ideals, goals and missions and are happy to connect you with the right person/business.

-A 2010 Alum of The College of William and Mary, Nick has been playing and performing with multiple instruments including guitar, piano and bass for over a decade. In addition to the aforementioned credentials, Nick also holds positions with several fantastic local businesses including the Fat Canary Restaurant/Cheese Shop of VA as well as the Precious Gem along with many other entrepreneurial side projects. *Currently, Nick spends most of his time in the Williamsburg area with his wife and fellow William and Mary Alum, Caroline Gwaltney, their dog, "Rodie" and Cat, "Hatteras". Nick is also an avid gardner, previously sponsored competitive surfer and paddleboarder.

Looking forward to seeing some of the best musicians do their thing all this weekend in Hampton. Will be around town all day sharing some tunes of my own and spreading the good vibes. Hopefully will get to catch up with old friends and make plenty of new ones.

Will be cranking out some tunes this evening in Merchants Square between the Fat Canary and The Cheese Shop starting around 5:45. Certainly a beautiful day and weekend to be outside listening to music. Going to do a few with the harmonica tonight--a new endeavor I picked up over the last week.

Just want to thank everyone who came out to Merchants Square/Cheese Shop/Fat Canary to hear me play some tunes this evening. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Also, a special thanks to those of you who stuck around earlier in the evening when the 9-volt on my Taylor Guitar's preamp lost steam and needed to be replaced--who could imagine that on the one night you leave the bag of extra ones at home the W&M college bookstore/barnes and noble would not have the 9v in stock.....found the last one of a pack in the basement of the Cheese Shop. A slightly hectic first 10 minutes of the evening that you certainly never plan for.

If anyone is looking for something fun to get into on Saturday night: In Williamsburg, Nick will be playing live music in merchants square in between Fat Canary and Cheese Shop Restaurants AND if you are on the "Other" side of the water, my best friend and occasional partner in musical crime, Steve Lazar will be playing with DEJA in VA beach. Great weekend for beautiful weather and great tunes!

Nick will be playing two shows this week in Merchants Square. Wednesday 9/25 and Saturday 9/28 starting at 6:30pm between the Fat Canary and Cheese Shop Businesses. Great opportunity to come out to Williamsburg with reasonable temperatures and humidity as well as supporting local music and two fantastic businesses.

Nick will be playing live music on Wednesday nights in Merchants Square in between The Cheese Shop and Fat Canary Restaurant starting between 6-6:30 PM, weather permitting.

*There is an additional show scheduled for Saturday, September 21st at the same time and location to celebrate William and Mary "Parents Weekend".
