Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸
Today is more than fireworks, cookouts, and red, white, and blue. It’s a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were purchased through the sacrifice of countless men and women who were willing to stand in harm’s way so others could live in peace.
No matter where we come from, what we do, or where we stand on the issues that divide us, I hope today can unite us in simple gratitude. Gratitude for the opportunity to dream, to work, to worship, to speak freely, to raise our families, and to pursue a better future.
America isn’t perfect—no nation is—but it remains a place where ordinary people have extraordinary opportunities to build a life, leave a legacy, and make something of themselves.
So today, fly the flag with pride. Hug your family a little tighter. Thank a veteran, someone who has served our nation, or anyone who continues to answer the call of service. And let’s also honor the police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, doctors, and countless other first responders and medical professionals who faithfully serve our communities every day. Whether responding to emergencies, running toward danger, or caring for others in life’s most difficult moments, you are part of what makes America great.
Freedom is not free. It has always come at a cost, and it continues to be protected by men and women who choose service over self.
May God continue to bless the United States of America, grant wisdom to our leaders, protection to those who serve, and may each of us do our part to leave this nation stronger for the next generation.
Happy Independence Day! God Bless America. 🇺🇸
