Ben Cutler isn’t messing around. His meatloaf is bold, scratch-made, and borderline legendary.

Here’s why:

✅ Ground beef, ground in-house
✅ Basil oil that rounds like sugar on a spoon
✅ Worcestershire + balsamic = depth + balance
✅ Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, and sautéed veggies
✅ Finished on Texas toast with cheddar, BBQ sauce & blackberry jam

Crispy. Sweet. Spicy. 🥓✨

Resident Julie Eaton shares her family-favorite Hotel Bacon - a recipe guaranteed to make everyone smile. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a party snack, it’s quick, simple, and oh-so delicious.

You’ll need:
• Thick-cut bacon (or any bacon you love)
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ⅛ tsp (or more!) cayenne

Steps:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400° and line a shallow pan with parchment or foil.
2️⃣ Lay bacon side by side, then sprinkle with a mix of brown sugar + cayenne.
3️⃣ Bake 15 minutes, flip, and bake 5 minutes more—until crispy perfection.

Enjoy warm with family, friends, or… all to yourself! 😋

Meet Retread, the beloved loggerhead sea turtle at the New England Aquarium. 🐢

Though rescued in 1987 and unable to return to the wild, she continues to inspire visitors every day. Her story is a reminder of the hundreds of sea turtles rescued from Cape Cod each year - many suffering from cold-stunning, a growing threat worsened by climate change.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Aquarium and Mass Audubon, these endangered turtles are given a second chance at life. ❤️🏝️

When Troop 70755 set out to earn their Bronze Award, they didn’t just complete a project - they sparked real change. 💪💚

Partnering with South Shore Safety, these 5th-grade Girl Scouts helped enhance the local babysitting course with life-saving training on seizures and anxiety response.

Morgan shared:
“I feel grateful we got a chance to help our community - and very happy that this will make a long-lasting impact.”

Now, babysitters across the South Shore are more prepared than ever - and it all started right here in Hingham.

Meet Abby Farris, Hingham’s Project 351 Ambassador - and a young leader with a big heart. 💛

This year, Abby donated nearly 700 items to Cradles to Crayons, launched a food drive for fall, and advocated for a therapy dog at Hingham Middle School. 🐾

Summer, a chocolate lab, is now in training to be HMS’s first resident therapy dog.

“I wanted kids to have the same comfort and joy I feel from my dogs, Scout and Hazel,” Abby shared.

One student, one mission, and a ripple effect of kindness across our schools and town. 👍
